Another video of this dance can be found here.
This site includes Ed Gilmore calling a shortened version of the dance here, an audio clip called by Joe Lewis can be found here, and a full-length live recording (1960) by Arnie Kronenberger is here.
Joe Lewis was one of the big names in square dance calling; he played an accordion that was specially fitted out so that different notes would produce different kinds of sounds, and his big hit was Alabama Jubilee. This live recording (1960) comes from the collection of the Square Dance Foundation of New England. Arnie Kronenberger, from Los Angeles, was one of the eminent callers from southern California who was active in shaping the modern square dance movement. He was active in the formation of CALLERLAB, and this recording illustrates his vibrant and musical style of leading a dance.
