This demonstration number is for eight couples forming a double square, one inside the other. The choreography was created by Kira Heartsong for Calico and Boots.

The High Country Squares club hails from the Denver area. The caller here is Todd Albright. Much of the group's repertoire comes from Calico & Boots; many of the High Country Dancers, including their director, Dale Fry, were Calico & Boots members. Calico & Boots formed in the Boulder, Colorado area, carrying on the dance traditions and styling that came from Lloyd Shaw and the Cheyenne Mountain Dancers.
